Stormy Calico has been known to come apart.  It seems that there are veins of clay that are marbled into the rock which expand and contract with water and frost, which make the rock come apart during the winter and also during the summer. Clay expands when it gets wet. Anything wet expands when it freezes. This makes for a bad mix in rock.  Be careful when ordering this rock. If you do order this rock you will do so at your own risk and may have a cleanup job in the near future (possibly 3 years) like in this picture below.

All of the rocks in this picture started out at 4 feet in diameter. They broke down to nearly 2 inches in some cases and razor sharp edges.
